Hello all!
It has been a while since
our last public performance so I thought I would give you some updates. We have been working on some new material ( originals ) and one song that has worked it's way to the top is a new song written by Matt. It is a really catchy song and I'm sure it will go over well when we finally finish it off. We are planning on recording a complete album's worth of material
that we hope will be available some time late this year.
With the closing of Sweetheart's we are
looking for a new place to play that is central to our fan base, as well as some other venues that are out of our area. Anyway, please hang in there and we will keep you posted on future events and the progress our our album

Muchas gracias to those of you that made it to the July 6 show at Sweetheart's. Little did we know at the time that it would be our Sweetheart's finale. (Damn, we should have played Free Bird, after all!)If you haven't heard, Sweetheart's has "closed its doors." We appreciate Dave, the owner's, hospitality and we enjoyed the hell outta playing there. As for Dolly Sodds, we are always looking for our next adventure, and we hope that you will be stay tuned and be a part of that journey. We will do some studio work this month and work on our originals, as well as some new songs.

I've heard you at the Brookfield Pool Open House and at the 4th of July party on Eden Way. You guys sounded terrific. I don't know if it will be this year or not but my husband's birthday is 9 August and I would be interested in seeing if Dolly Sodds could come and perform at a simple backyard party. I haven't finished the guest list but I'm thinking 30 people?

Hey everyone,
here's a couple of updates.
We are in the process of rescheduling the next Sweetheart's show. We have had a few scheduling conflicts, however I think we are close to setting a date!
I went to the Fox Chase Tavern last night to check it out and while it is a little small, there are no bad seats in the place! I look forward to playing there.
Last of all, as usual we have been working hard at adding new material. I think everyone will like the new additions.

The owner said the place was almost sold out and he had a great night as far as sales. This in spite of the weather.
